Comment 1 Randy Mann 2012-10-30 02:56:57 UTC
Every time I updated Fedora, it was harder and harder to restart my computer. This time, when I restarted, it sat for quite a while with just a blue screen. After about 15 minutes, I turned of my computer and turned it back on. the bios would not load. I tried this several times, but with no luck. I removed my battery, unplugged my cable, and removed the small battery on the mother board and left it undone for 15 minutes. It booted ok, but ABRT kicked in.
My computer is an Acer Aspire 5253-BZ692, AMD Dual core processor C-50.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle)

Comment 2 Randy Mann 2012-11-03 03:38:53 UTC
There always seems to be an issue booting up. I have to repeatedly hit the power button several times to get it to load.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle)

Comment 3 Horst H. von Brand 2012-11-21 16:20:28 UTC
Woke system up from suspend, got a new address via DHCP and showed this message.

Package: kernel
OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne)

Comment 4 Josh Boyer 2013-03-12 19:45:14 UTC
Are you still seeing this with 3.7.9 or 3.8.2 in updates-testing?

Comment 5 Suren Karapetyan 2013-03-12 20:23:55 UTC
In fact I got this crash only once. Don't know if it was fixed by updates or was just an accident which never repeated.
Does anybody else still have this issue? Randy? Horst?

Comment 6 Josh Boyer 2013-03-28 14:08:22 UTC
We'll close this out for now as a one-off. If someone is seeing this repeatedly, please reopen and attach the oops output from the latest kernel they're seeing it with.
