Description of problem:
Restart (<CTRL>+<ALT>+backspace, or logout the X in runlevel 5) the i810 XFree86
will result in kernel panic immediately.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.4.18-27.7.x (no such problem on 2.4.18-18.7.x)

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
a)
1.login though gdm (runlevel 5)
2.logout the X
or
b)
1.startx in runlevel 3
2.press <CTRL>+<ALT>+backspace (no problem if select logout to exit the X)

Actual results:
hanged immediately

Expected results:
a) show the gdm screen
b) restart the X window

Additional info:
shutdown/restart the machine in runlevel 5 will result in kernel panic too.

seems that this bug is a dupe of 71965, although kernel version is different.

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.

The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, 
and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in
the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
