The patch util-linux-2.13-login-utmp.patch contains: ut.ut_type == DEAD_PROCESS; ... utp = getutid(&ut); should be ut.ut_type = DEAD_PROCESS; ... utp = getutid(&ut); Fortunately this typo probably does not affect patch functionality. See bug #646300 for more details.
