Please provide "lspci -nn" command output.

lspci -nn output

This is the required info. Or at least, i hope so. Because i'm not 100% sure this was obtained from my x40 thinkpad :) Maybe abrt can add some more info to the automatically generated bug reports ....

Comment 3 Stanislaw Gruszka 2012-10-24 21:30:11 UTC
There is no 03:00.0 on the list, I assume this it is rt2500 pcmcia device (and during lspci this device was removed from the slot).

Comment 4 cornel panceac 2012-10-25 04:59:50 UTC
this is correct. the pcmcia device was not inserted during the lspci -nn. here's its line after inserting:

03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Ralink corp. RT2500 Wireless 802.11bg [1814:0201] (rev 01)

it was not inserted because i usually connect to the network through a cable.

Comment 5 cornel panceac 2012-10-25 05:06:44 UTC
and, of course, because i didn't actually read the error message, where such info can be found: 237167G, which is the x40's id, pci 0000:03:00.0, and pcmcia, which would've clarified what are we looking for.

Comment 6 Justin M. Forbes 2013-10-18 21:01:31 UTC
*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 18 kernel bugs.

Fedora 18 has now been rebased to 3.11.4-101.fc18. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you have moved on to Fedora 19, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 19.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.

Comment 7 Stanislaw Gruszka 2013-11-20 10:16:01 UTC
This is old PCMCIA hardware, not going to fix it, sorry.

Comment 8 cornel panceac 2014-07-02 11:37:45 UTC
why was this closed?

Comment 9 Josh Boyer 2014-07-02 12:06:36 UTC
F18 is EOL. Please open a new bug if you're seeing this with the latest kernel update in a supported release.

Comment 10 Stanislaw Gruszka 2014-07-02 13:39:21 UTC
This bug will not be fixed on new kernel as well, see comment 7

Comment 11 cornel panceac 2014-07-02 14:06:05 UTC
thank you.
