Thanks for the report!

I'm able to reproduce your problem even with upstream tar. I'll try to observe
where is the problem.

Pavel

Comment 13 Fedora End Of Life 2013-07-04 06:27:38 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 17 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 17. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '17'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 17 is end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the
'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Comment 14 Pavel Raiskup 2013-07-04 07:09:18 UTC
As this is upstream problem, moving to Rawhide (it can be backported to stable
release once fixed upstream).

Comment 15 Jan Kurik 2015-07-15 14:58:18 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 23 development cycle.
Changing version to '23'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 23 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 23 End Of Life. Thank you.)

Comment 16 Mike McCune 2016-03-28 23:21:47 UTC
This bug was accidentally moved from POST to MODIFIED via an error in automation, please see mmccune with any questions

Comment 17 Pavel Raiskup 2016-06-01 06:06:44 UTC
The crash is fixed upstream: 0a93c16c6299d4ea91f2eb04f8c997d7d58f9af8

Released in v1.29 (F25+).
