How reproducible: Every time you need to tell us a) what versions of systemd, accountsservice and gnome-shell you see this with b) what processes are left running in the leftover sessions c) loginctl session-status output would be good I believe it's still the same annoying bug - bug 814690. a) gnome-shell-3.6.1-1.fc18.i686 systemd-194-1.fc18.i686 accountsservice-0.6.25-2.fc18.i686 c) loginctl output [test1@dhcp-10-16-62-7 ~]$ loginctl SESSION UID USER SEAT 2 1000 test1 seat0 4 1000 test1 seat0 7 1000 test1 seat0 3 sessions listed. We agreed this does not constitute a blocker per the criteria, and we reject it as NTH also as it is just a regular bug that can be fixed with an update. We're fairly sure kparal is correct and this isn't new, but a longstanding annoyance that was in previous releases. The leftover tracker processes should be addressed when the patch in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=687074 gets merged. I'm having the same problem since upgrade to F18 - now running the latest updates as of today. Since there is no logout button on a single-user workstation this happens whenever I try to shut down the workstation. I'm having a similar problem with my XFCE session. I'm using: systemd-197-1.fc18.1.x86_64.rpm accountsservice-0.6.25-2.fc18.x86_64.rpm xfce4-session-4.10.0-4.fc18.x86_64.rpm gnome-shell-3.6.3-2.fc18.x86_64.rpm The offending process is: PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND 1868 ? SLl 0:00 gnome-keyring-daemon --start This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 18. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '18'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 18 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. Fedora 18 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2014-01-14. Fedora 18 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. |
