Are you still seeing this with 3.7.9 or 3.8.2 in updates-testing?

I am not getting this message any more (kernel is 3.7.9-104.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Feb 24 19:19:12 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux).

However I have replaced the offending pci card with two different cards as follows :-
