Fix attached. libdb-cxx could be used for F-17 as well but I don't know if existing db4 databases would work with db5, and libdb's packaging is kind of broken for F-17, so I think the approach in the patch is fine.

Package poedit-1.5.4-4.fc18:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing poedit-1.5.4-4.fc18'
as soon as you are able to.
