Description Amir Aharoni 2012-10-31 17:53:17 UTC
Description of problem:
The Yi script, used by about 2 million people in China, is missing from the default installation of Fedora. This can be easily fixed by including the sil-nuosu-fonts in the default installation. It's Freely licensed and not too big.

For more information about the script, see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yi_script

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora with the Gnome desktop.
2. Use Firefox to go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Amire80/Fedora_fonts .
3. Check whether the line that says "Yi script" has Yi letters. If it has squares or numbers, then the font is not installed.

Actual results:
There are squares.

Expected results:
There should be Yi letters.

sil is good quality and qa-wise. Nor problem adding sil fonts to default install when needed for coverage

Comment 2 Bill Nottingham 2012-11-06 04:13:26 UTC
OK, added.
