Description Sebastian Ott 2012-11-03 18:41:23 UTC
Description of problem:
New anaconda UI has no way to determine which preexisting partition a certain
mountpoint should use.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 18 Beta TC7
anaconda-18.24-1.fc18

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start anaconda
2. choose custom partition setup
3. plain partitions (no lvm)
4. try to use a specific partition (e.g. /dev/sda3) for a certain mountpoint (e.g. /)

Actual results:
Impossible to specify a specific partition

Expected results:
Have an option to use an existing partition.

Additional info:
This was possible with the old UI of anaconda.
