Description Matt Reid 2012-11-07 16:06:55 UTC
Description of problem:
For some reason, it looks like a couple of our strings don't line up properly in the System Registration dialog. "Fetching list of possible orgs" and "Finding suitable service levels" are at least two of the problematic strings, I'm not sure if there are others. "Attaching subscriptions" and "Registering your system" are in the right spot, so I'm not sure why some other strings start in a different position.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
subscription-manager-1.1.5-1.git.14.ae9fffd

Misaligned text compared to proper text

Text on the bottom half is where it should be, in line with the progress bar. Text in the top half of the image starts farther left than the progress bar.

Misalignes strings

Version:

# subscription-manager version
server type: Red Hat Subscription Management
subscription management server: Unknown
subscription-manager: 1.10.13-1.el7
python-rhsm: 1.10.12-1.el7

Verification:

Please See attachment...

I see another string that is not aligned.

QE_FAILED.

Comment 5 Michael Stead 2014-02-06 15:42:08 UTC
That screen shot looks nothing like what the result of the patch should have looked like. The progress bar should no longer have an indent from "Registering" header label.

I'll double check the fix against RHEL7.

Comment 6 Michael Stead 2014-02-06 20:17:50 UTC
I can't reproduce on RHEL7. Things are lining up correctly for me (see attached screens shots). Notice that the progress bar is no longer indented.

[root@localhost mstead]# rpm -qa | grep subscription
subscription-manager-firstboot-1.10.13-1.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-debuginfo-1.10.13-1.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-1.10.13-1.el7.x86_64
subscription-manager-gui-1.10.13-1.el7.x86_64

Please try again with subscription-manager-1.10.13-1
