Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing plymouth-0.8.8-3.fc18 gdm-3.6.1-4.fc18' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2012-17794/plymouth-0.8.8-3.fc18,gdm-3.6.1-4.fc18 then log in and leave karma (feedback). if the kernel didn't also get updated in that transaction, then you may need to rebuild your initrd for the changes to take effect. you can do that with "dracut -f" The update is now stable.
