During normal usage of the 'Power User Portal' in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) the application appeared sluggish and the CPU usage on the host would stay near 100% at all times. This was caused by the way some of the data was rendered and a short duration between each refresh.
To fix this, the way some of the data is rendered in the browser has been optimized to improve performance. The default refresh rate has been set to 30 seconds instead of 5 seconds in IE8 only. Now the application is much more responsive with a larger number of shown data. The CPU usage of the host only spikes when refreshing the data, and only for a short period of time.
