Description of problem:
driver crashes, no xorg log is written

How reproducible:
100%

I'm using lightdm, if that's related.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install, restart X
2. crash
3. downgrade to earlier version fixed that problem.
e.g. to xorg-x11-drv-qxl-0.0.22-5.20120718gitde6620788.fc18.x86_64

I just installed f18 from the beta dvd, chose xfce as desktop environment. The installed version works fine (installs xorg-x11-drv-qxl-0.0.22-5.20120718gitde6620788.fc18.x86_64).
Just updating the single package xorg-x11-drv-qxl crashes X, downgrading fixes this.

Upgraded from F17-F18Beta using fedup-cli.

LightDM would not start correctly.
Kept phasing in and out to rl3 boot up info

Downgrading to
xorg-x11-drv-qxl-0.0.22-5.20120718gitde6620788.fc18.i686
got LightDM working and allowed login.


Booting to rl3, and typing startx worked.
So probably not a full X problem as such.
