Log

I generated a color profile for my laptop display about two month ago, using a Huey on Fedora 17. I recently upgraded to Fedora 18 Beta and ran the calibration again. This time, the profile is very different (very red, see attached photo). I ran this a number of times but the result is always the same. On Fedora 17, this worked fine.

Tested with:
gnome-color-manager-3.6.0-1.fc18.x86_64
colord-0.1.24-1.fc18.x86_64
colord-gtk-0.1.22-3.fc18.x86_64

Can you try installing the F17 argyllcms package on f18, and retrying please?

Comment 3 Michael Monreal 2012-12-05 17:52:38 UTC
I tried, but the F17 package depends on an older libtiff. It's version 1.4.0 as well btw. Any other idea?

Comment 4 Richard Hughes 2013-12-10 09:58:30 UTC
I've upgraded aggyllcms to the latest version in f18,19,20 and rawhide. Can you try that please?

Comment 5 Michael Monreal 2013-12-11 00:07:28 UTC
Well, I cannot test this because after F18 the behavior changed from "bad calibration" to "no calibration" as reported on bug #699250

Comment 6 Richard Hughes 2013-12-11 10:41:56 UTC
#699250 doesn't look like anything related. I'll roll a new release of colord today with some more fixes that might help.

Sorry, I was referring to bug 699250 on BGO [1] not BRC, which is still not fixed.
