Description Jesse Kahtava 2012-12-04 14:48:21 UTC
Created attachment 657560 [details]
dmesg output

Description of problem:
Sometimes when trying to connect to a access point and most times when trying to create an adhoc "hotspot" this error occurs. It always occurs after waking from suspend.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel 3.6.8-2.fc17.x86_64

How reproducible:
Almost always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create hotspot in NetworkManager.
2. Wait a while, it times out and pops up a notification stating, "Activation of network failed"
3. Most times I can see in gkrellm that wlan0 is not an active interface. If I try to connect to other wifi networks it will sometimes pop up in gkrellm, then I can usually get the hotspot working

Actual results:
Does not create hotspot

Expected results:
a hotspot would be created
