Thanks for a bug report. I see it crashed when trying to spell check your signature. Is this reproducible consistently with that certain signature? If so, would it be possible to share it for testing, please? Please note that evolution-3.8 will use a WebKit as its editor, most likely, but 3.6.x still uses GtkHTML.

*** Bug 883880 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

Comment 13 Victor Ion Munteanu 2012-12-10 17:00:39 UTC
The actual signature was empty. I hit the add new signature in the account window, gave it a name and saved it empty (hit close) and then tried to edit it from the signatures menu and it crashed.

Comment 14 Milan Crha 2012-12-11 07:30:21 UTC
Nice, I can reproduce it with an empty HTML signature. Empty plain text signature work fine. I'm moving this upstream. Please see [1] for any further updates. Feel free to CC there as well.

Hope I was of help. Unfortunately I don't have an account upstream and I don't plan to make one :)
