Description of problem:

findutils 4.5.10 (current version in rawhide) will not build against glibc 2.16 (current version in rawhide).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

4.5.10-5.fc18

How reproducible:

Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install latest Fedora 18 Beta.
2. Install required packages to build findutils 4.5.10.
3. Run 'rpmbuild --rebuild findutils-4.5.10-5.fc18.src.rpm'.
  
Actual results:

The build fails part-way through claiming that 'gets' is undefined.

Expected results:

The build succeeds.

Additional info:

I have attached a one-liner patch that applies cleanly to the current SRPM in rawhide which 'fixes' the issue as already described in a similar patch from am RH employee but unsure why it never made it through to rawhide.

Thank you for reporting the issue.  This is already fixed in findutils-4.5.10-7.fc18.  You are welcome to provide feedback from building the up2date version of findutils.

Kinda noticing this never made it through the build system for fc18

It did, but the build was deleted later because there was no update submitted for that build.  Submitting updates of binary packages that come with no user-visible changes is not useful enough to bother proventesters with testing.
