i'm running installutin f18-beta-netinst in VirtualBox, and selected btrfs partiton layout

Package: anaconda-18.29.2
OS Release: Fedora release 18-Beta

Comment 17 Chris Lumens 2012-12-10 15:22:55 UTC
You have a lot of errors in your syslog indicating trouble reading/writing to devices. anaconda cannot do anything about this.

Comment 18 Maksim Melnikau 2012-12-10 15:36:26 UTC
I'm OK with fact, that anaconda couldn't do anything,
but may be it is some other issue? (Shouldn't it be moved to other component).

For me, as enduser, it looks like F18-Beta-netstall.iso
1. could not be installed in VirtualBox
2. (other issue) it cannot even start installution with kvm

Where I should assign bugs about F18 in different virtual machines (qemu(kvm), xen, VirtualBox, VMWare)?..

Comment 19 Dave Jones 2012-12-11 14:45:45 UTC
problem seems to be with virtualbox's emulation of a sata device.
(or a problem with the underlying sata device)
