Discussed at 2012-12-19 NTH review meeting: http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-bugzappers/2012-12-19/f18final-blocker-review-6.2012-12-19-17.02.log.txt . Tentatively rejected as NTH: there isn't a clear rationale for why we need to pull this through the freeze, and we were concerned it could theoretically affect gnome-packagekit for e.g. It could be re-proposed with a clearer rationale.
