Error at each connection, in /var/log/messages:

vsftpd: warning: can't get client address: Bad file descriptor

IPv4, upgraded from 8.0 to 9.

1. Connect by ftp to the box.

Hm, the error is coming from tcp_wrappers, it appears to be doing
getpeername(-1, ...)

See bug  89765, which is about a failure of vsftpd's use of tcp_wrappers, but
which addresses this bug's issue also.
