Description bob 2012-12-21 17:09:51 UTC
Description of problem:

the following message is issued on boot: systemd-readahead[325]: Failed to read event: Value too large for defined data type

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

F18 beta

How reproducible:

always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install f18 beta. No error message.
2. Change SELinux to Permissive. Reboot.
3.

Actual results:

Error mesasge displayed

Expected results:

No error message.

Additional info:

Ths problem seems to have come up as a result of changing SEL to permissive mode. On the first reboot after the configuration change, a lot of disk activity takes place as files are converted relevant to the update. On every subsequent boot the error message is displayed. Something is being botched in the conversion process.
