Description of problem:

konsole-4.9.4-1.fc18.x86_64 intermittently fails to write text in titlebar properly. Instead of writing legible text, konsole writes black spaces to titlebar. (See attachments).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

F18. Latest KDE updates pulled in as of midnight central time on 12-21-12.

How reproducible:

Intermittent. When windows are resized, sometimes the titlebar text is written properly, sometimes it is written as black spaces.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. update KDE to latest packages
2. use konsole.
3. watch for title bar errors

Actual results:

black space in title bar in lieu of text

Expected results:

text

another screen shot

Update: it seems that I may have been a bit premature in blaming this error on Konsole. I've started to notice the problem as well with other applications, such as an Adobe Reader pop-up window (see attachment). This suggests that it's a problem with the updated version of KDE window manager rather than Konsole.

It's very difficult to catch a screen shot of the error, as the ksnapshot screen capture program sometimes implements a refresh of the screen and makes the error disappear.

NVidia driver bug, report directly to NVidia.
