Description of problem:
suddenly evolution crashed at an email composal. opened windows: the main inboxes and a composing mail.

actually evolution did recover correctly the mail being composed

Thanks for a bug report. I found a bug report upstream [1], which names the function where this crashed, and it seems that gtk3 3.6.x has this fixed. Please see the upstream bug report for further information.
