Comment 2 Jan Pazdziora 2013-01-01 18:01:26 UTC
Could you please upgrade to Spacewalk 1.8 where the memory issue of channel repodata generation was addressed and let us know if it fixes the problem for you as well?

Comment 3 Maurice James 2013-01-01 18:28:05 UTC
I am using 1.8 currently. I've upgraded since I opened this bug

Comment 4 Maurice James 2013-01-13 02:32:59 UTC
Are any more logs needed?

Comment 5 Stefan Bluhm 2013-05-11 17:41:34 UTC
I actually have the same issue with version 1.9 on CentOS 6.4 / 64bit:

Comment 7 Michael Mráka 2013-09-12 13:54:30 UTC
This seem to be caused by incorrect handling of stdout and stderr of spacewalk-repo-sync.

I'm closing it as duplicate of bug 820612.

If you disagree please reopen the bug.

This BZ closed some time during 2.5, 2.6 or 2.7. Adding to 2.7 tracking bug.
