The backtrace shows a crash in pango code, thus I guess you got this after update of pango/cairo/gtk3? Please check your /var/log/yum.log for updates after 2013-01-05 inclusive, because one of them may cause this, according to comment #10. (In reply to comment #19) > Thanks for a bug report. Thanks for the update. Feel free to add 'sort' to $ rpm -qa | egrep 'pango|gtk|cairo' | sort the next time, thus it's easier to search in the list :) In any case, I see I have these currently: cairo-1.12.8-1.fc18.x86_64 gtk3-3.6.2-1.1.fc18.x86_64 pango-1.32.3-1.fc18.x86_64 thus we have the same pango, but I have older gtk3 and cairo. Your cairo has a fix for bug #882976, so maybe the fix for it has a regression. Could you try to: $ yum downgrade cairo cairo-gobject to the 1.12.8-1 version, and/or gtk3 to 3.6.2-1, whether it'll help, please? I'd try to bisect which update caused this, and it can be either cairo or gtk3 in your case. Note you should downgrade all related packages in once, like I suggested the command for cairo, then for gtk3 it would be both gtk3 and gtk3-immodile-xim package. Hi Milan, Downgrading gtk3 seems to have fixed it. Kalev commented on the QA list thread with this link: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-devel-list/2013-January/msg00013.html Apparently, it isn't an evolution bug. It's affecting various other applications too: transmission, evince at least. Thanks for looking into this. Thanks, Warm regards, Ankur Thanks. I'm marking this as a duplicate of the other bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 892359 *** |
