Description of problem:
We ship sir 2.4.1 whereas the latest upstream is 2.5.1.

If you want to update it yourself, I can make you comaintainer for this package, you have to file a request for it.
Otherwise will update.

* was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:

as soon as you are able to.
