This RFE came out of a conversation with the Heat team in which it seemed like it made sense for Nova to make its metadata server r/w so that Heat didn't have to maintain its own metadata server for instances. Work hasn't started, however, so it's not something that is going to happen in the near future. I am closing as WONTFIX as there doesn't seem to be any actual need for this feature. Please feel free to reopen if something arises. |
