I am also using Logitech Optical Mouse with USB interface (Model Number: M- BJ58) on my Sony Vaio PCG-FX770TK Notebook (USB 1.1 port). I have found that the USB mouse is not detected under the latest kernel upgrade to kernel-2.4.20-13.9. No red light emitted from the mouse either. What was the last kernel that worked? Also, please attach the output of "dmesg", taken after experimenting with the mouse (not right after reboot). Please do not drop it into the comments box. Please try 2.4.20-18. If that fails I still need the dmesg. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
