This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 18. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '18'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Created attachment 684248 [details] Photo of display after waking up Description of problem: After waking my laptop up from sleep, sometimes display looks as in the attached photo. This makes system completely unusable and I have to manually power off it. How reproducible: Often. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Suspend computer. 2. Wake it up. Actual results: As in attachment. Expected results: Show me my desktop. Additional info: I use "Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV710" and lspci shows: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV710 [Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series]
