Description blitzter 2013-01-22 17:47:37 UTC
Description of problem:
SELinux is preventing /usr/lib/xulrunner/plugin-container from 'execute' accesses on the chr_file /dev/zero.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that plugin-container should be allowed execute access on the zero chr_file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep plugin-containe /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Comment 1 Daniel Walsh 2013-01-22 19:17:52 UTC
Since we allow this to chrome_sandbox, we should allow it for mozilla_plugin_t, I think this is some kind of jre thing.

Comment 2 Miroslav Grepl 2013-01-23 08:44:09 UTC
Backported to F18.

commit 53ab1a71759827cf2d0f1d44adcf985d9d587b60
Author: Dan Walsh <dwalsh>
Date: Tue Jan 22 14:18:59 2013 -0500

Allow mozilla_plugin_t to rwx zero_device_t, for some kind of jre
