screenshot after hitting E to edit the default menu item

Description of problem:
I upgraded Fedora 17 to Fedora 18 and installed and set up grub2-efi. It uses the graphical mode by default. I can't edit any menu item - if I do that, I see only a black screen, see screenshot.

I assume the problem is in:
1) a low resolution display
2) and/or UEFI mode

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
grub2-efi-2.00-15.fc18.x86_64
Lenovo X220 with 1366x768 display

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. hit E

Additional info:
If I set GRUB_TERMINAL=console, everything work OK in the console mode.
