Description Mads Kiilerich 2013-01-26 15:14:26 UTC
python-requests-0.14.1-1.fc17.noarch includes
/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/requests/packages/chardet/
/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/requests/packages/chardet2/
/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/requests/packages/oauthlib/
/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/requests/packages/urllib3/

chardet seems to already exist as a package - and the others should be packaged as separate packages.

Comment 2 Toshio Ernie Kuratomi 2013-01-31 20:14:46 UTC
Still present in the rawhide package

Comment 3 Toshio Ernie Kuratomi 2013-01-31 20:19:24 UTC
1.1.0 which we haven't updated to yet but potentially could also bundles libraries: charade (a new fork of python-chardet{,2}) and urllib3. Note that (at least this bundled version of) urllib3 is itself bundling some packages.

Comment 4 Ralph Bean 2013-02-12 05:25:40 UTC
Note: review requests now exist for at least:

python-urllib3 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=907688
python-charade - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=910236

Arun Sag says he doesn't have the time.

Is anyone looking into this now?

Comment 6 Ralph Bean 2013-02-25 20:57:09 UTC
I'll take ownership of it.

The first thing, I think, is to figure out https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=915476

Comment 13 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 20:31:01 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
