There does not seem to be any UI is provided to configure mozc in
FC18 + gnome.

There is a toolbox icon in gnome-control-center-->Region &
Language-->Input Sources but it is disabled and remains disabled when
mozc is selected.

/usr/libexec/mozc_tool puts up the 'About dialog' but nothing else.

Package mozc-1.6.1187.102-2.fc18:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing mozc-1.6.1187.102-2.fc18'
as soon as you are able to.
