Description Turgut Kalfaoglu 2013-02-03 06:47:54 UTC
Description of problem:

Ever since I upgraded from Fedora 17 (yum upgrade), no p2p program downloads or uploads anything. I removed all firewalls, iptables -L is almost empty, evertything allowed. I removed /etc/sysconfig/iptables and ip6tables files. I added and removed firewalld and firewalld-config. Did not help.

It's not a modem firewall problem, as I can TELNET to deluge's port from another computer, and it connects..

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
deluge-images-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch
deluge-gtk-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch
deluge-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch
deluge-console-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch
deluge-common-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch
deluge-daemon-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch
deluge-web-1.3.5-2.fc18.noarch

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start deluge
2. Wait. Nothing gets transferred, although the number of connections reaches the maximum in a few minutes.
3.

If every p2p program doesn't work, it cannot really a deluge bug. If you need help diagonising a generic problem, use http://ask.fedoraproject.org, fedora-list or other support forums.

Can you try qbittorrent as it uses rb_libtorrent directly, I suspect the rb_libtorrent python bindings are broken in 16.5 .

Comment 3 Rahul Sundaram 2013-02-25 17:04:03 UTC
@leigh,  FYI

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2013-February/179113.html

I have submitted a build override for F18 and will be rebuilding the deps including qbittorrent shortly.

Comment 6 Calum 2013-02-26 01:37:53 UTC
FYI: This will also be fixed by using the latest Deluge 1.3.6 release.

Comment 7 Rahul Sundaram 2013-02-26 02:48:25 UTC
@Calum

I am pushing 1.3.6 to Rawhide. I have a few downstream patches I would like to get upstreamed. If you want to take a look,

yum install fedpkg
fedpkg clone -a deluge

If you want me to file them individually upstream, let me know

Comment 8 Rahul Sundaram 2013-02-26 02:51:24 UTC
Rawhide build
