Could you please attach the crash output? I regularly test on a box which is
legacy-free and has no floppy controller and have not experienced any problems
so having the output would be handy.

Comment 2 Dan Horth 2003-05-20 23:58:07 UTC
I did want to attach crash output - but since I had no floppy I had nowhere to
save it to! I couldn't find a way to dump it to disk either - would have been
handy being able to choose a path to save it to.

I have to reinstall the same box today anyway - so assuming I get the same crash
I'll copy down the report by hand and forward it on to you.

have not been able to reinstall, and hence replicate this crash - my media is
randomly (mostly) coming up as faulty when checksummed at the start of the
install process - fairly unpredictable - suspect media issues causing failed
installs and crashes. will test further later when more time. thanks!
