Description Jeff Prom 2003-05-23 01:29:54 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20030225

Description of problem:
when I boot, if I click on the Red Hat menu, then System Tools, then click on
the Red Hat Notification Alert Icon (rhn-applet-gui) it will then put yet
another instance of that icon it my tool bar area. If I click on this icon
again, it will put yet another filling up my tray with Alert Icons. There is no
error checking to see if it is already running, it just puts another icon there.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhn-applet-2.0.8-1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to X
2. Click on Red Hat menu, System Tools, Red Hat Notification Alert Icon
3.

Actual Results: Will have multiple icons in system tray depending on how many
times you launch it from System tools

Expected Results: should only have 1 icon.

Additional info:

Red Hat 9.0 release.
