Description Wolfgang Ulbrich 2013-03-06 16:18:02 UTC
Description of problem:

start of Mate-Desktop after mate-netspeed update to mate-netspeed-1.5.1-1.fc18.x86_64.
The issue is definitely caused by latest mate-netspeed, because dowgrading to 1.5.0-1 solve the issue.
Also new m-n slow down the start of mate desktop.
Normaly my desktop starts in 1 sec after lightdm, now up to 10 sec.
Exactly the same happens in rawhide, downgrading helps here too.

The break of mateconf indicates that something is wrong with the implementation of mateconf-gsettings-data-convert.

Ignore it.

Comment 2 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2013-03-07 10:32:56 UTC
Why should i ignore that mate-netspeed slow down my desktop start and trigger abrt alerts ?
If you don't understand the need and function of mateconf-gsettings-data-convert, talk with upstream or cygwinports who has implemented the mateconf-gsettings-data-convert file in mate-netspeed.
And don't forget mateconf is in comps.

Comment 3 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2013-03-07 11:10:03 UTC
upstream had fixed the issue.
