Description Ales Kozumplik 2013-03-07 16:36:42 UTC
The following code hangs on the h.download(PKG) line:

#! /usr/bin/python

import librepo

PKG="""pakchois-0.4-5.x86_64.rpm"""
MIRROR="""https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=fedora-17&arch=x86_64"""
# PKG="Packages/p/pakchois-0.4-5.x86_64.rpm"

if __name__ == "__main__":
    h = librepo.Handle()
    destdir="./"

    h.setopt(librepo.LRO_MIRRORLIST, MIRROR)
    h.setopt(librepo.LRO_REPOTYPE, librepo.LR_YUMREPO)
    h.setopt(librepo.LRO_DESTDIR, destdir)
    h.download(PKG)

Note that if correct relative location of the package is specified (PKG) the package is downloaded as expected.

Related curl issue: bug 919127.

I suspect this could be a blocker of the current bug too.

Comment 2 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 17:52:58 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
