I just confirmed that I don't have problem display the "notes" field stored in Gmail contact system using Evolution. The problem seems only apply to data in Exchange. Created attachment 708664 [details]
Contact in Gmail is displayed properly.

When I try to display the contact information from my personal address book, not from GAL, it displays everything except the "notes" field. I attaches three screen shots using OWA, Outlook and Evolution to show the difference.
