Description Denys Vlasenko 2013-03-13 14:23:28 UTC
Description of problem:
system-config-printer package depends on python-smbc package, which in turn depends on libsmbclient, which in turn depends on samba-libs.
I don't need samba-libs since I don't need to interface with any SMB services.
It is a largish package (16.9 mbytes) and I would like to deinstall it.

Please break this dependency chain.

We might try to use (very) weak dependencies [1] once some guidelines are sorted out [2].

Suggests: python-smbc%{?_isa}
