Description Prasad Pandit 2013-03-16 09:14:56 UTC
Linux kernel built with Logical Link Control(LLC) protocol is vulnerable
to an information leakage flaw. It occurs while retrieving socket name via
getsockname call.

A user/program could use this flaw to leak kernel memory bytes.

This issue does not affect the versions of the kernel package as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2.

This issue affects the version of the Linux kernel as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Future kernel updates for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 may address this issue.
