This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 18. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '18'. Created attachment 712701 [details] screenshot showing "Activities" showing through fullscreen game I patched my machine last night and the kernel was updated from kernel-3.8.2-206.fc18.x86_64 to kernel-3.8.3-201.fc18.x86_64. When I run fullscreen games under v3.8.3, it leaves part of the gnome-shell "Activities" menu showing through (see attached screenshot). When I boot back into the v3.8.2 kernel, the problem goes away. The video card is: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Juniper [Radeon HD 5700 Series] ...and I'm using the open-source radeon drivers. Let me know if you require other info.
