This doesn't sound like kde-printer-applet's fault, reassigning to gnutls. (By the way, kde-printer-applet has been replaced by kde-print-manager in today's updates.) I ran into this with virt-manager. Downgrading to gnutls-2.12.20-4.fc17.x86_64.rpm fixed the problem. Maybe the dependent packages need to be rebuilt? But why was an ABI change made? What is the libtasn1 package version on your system? *** Bug 928674 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Did you do full yum update ? My version of libtasn1 is libtasn1-2.12-1.fc17.x86_64. I didn't do a full update, the gnutls update got pulled in when I installed a new package. I see that there is an update for libtasn1 as well. If there's such a tight dependency between the packages, maybe it should be specified in the rpm as well. I just tried upgrading both together and now there is no issue. Yes, I forgot to add this dependency. *** Bug 955436 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** gnutls-2.12.23-2.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gnutls-2.12.23-2.fc17 gnutls-2.12.23-2.fc18 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 18. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gnutls-2.12.23-2.fc18 Package gnutls-2.12.23-2.fc18: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
