Hi,

I can add that this crash only happens in a configuration with two monitors (see Xorg.0.log for configuration). It doesn't matter which interfaces are used (vga, dvi or hdmi)

BTW. In Fedora 17 this two monitor configuration doesn't show the crash.

Hi,

FYI: upstream bug report [1].

Hi,

With the excellent help from Thomas Lübking (kwin developer) this issue is solved. Kwin no longer crashes. The patch is not yet in Fedora, though. Besides Mesa upstream has 'promised' some sort of change in th way msaa-visuals are handled in memory.

So I don't know if this report can already closed.

Hi,

If I'm correct, an upstream patch for this issue has been incorporated in the latest mesa update for Fedora 18 and works fine. So now this report can be closed.

Thanks,

Martin Kho
