Idem another system with a CAICOS card, either in BIOS or UEFI. Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/images/pxeboot/vmlinuz inst.stage2=hd:LABEL=Fedora\x2019-Alpha-TC1\x20x86_64 xdriver=vesa nomodeset quiet This is still an issue with TC4 (19.15). Currently, normal video has an issue and vnc also has an issue. Text mode is limited in functionality. Basic Video or VESA as a working troubleshooting option would be useful. Created attachment 714144 [details] syslog file Description of problem: It is not possible to boot with the option TROUBLESHOOTING -> INSTALL Fedora 19-xx in basic video mode. If somebody has a video issue, this is the next option to try and it will not work. Luckily the system can be booted without it. I believe since kms is in use, vesa cannot use the device, or something like that. Or it might be a bug. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): F19a TC1 (anaconda 19.12) How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot with the basic video option 2. xorg does not start, vnc or text mode are offered instead. Actual results: no graphics mode. Expected results: basic video, if that is possible. Additional info: * Radeon HD5670 on a M4N72-E (Phenonm II)
