Description Dennis Gilmore 2013-03-23 00:13:31 UTC
Support for the ARM 64 bit CPU architecture (aarch64) was introduced in
autoconf 2.69. compizconfig-python appears to use an earlier version of
autoconf, preventing its being built. This can be fixed in of three ways (In order of preference):

1. Work with upstream to migrate the package to autoconf 2.69.

2. Rerun autoconf or autoreconf in %prep or %build prior to running
configure.

3. Apply the patch at http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/aarch64/compizconfig-python/compizconfig-python-aarch64.patch
which updates config.guess and config.sub to recognize aarch64.

Hi Dennis,
i'm full against to build compiz for ARM architectures.
It was more an idea from Dan Marchal as from me.
I have any interesst to run into bugreprts of an architecture which i don't use.
Patching the code of stable compiz for this is for me a sign not to do this.
I see no reason why a ARM device which have mostly small displays needs a 3D compositing manager.
Also, this project is more in an experimental stage for me.

So, pls remove all compiz packages from your list of building for ARM.
