Description beckx020 2000-02-14 19:41:03 UTC
If the gui installer *thinks* that it can't find a video card, there
is no video card selection list on install. It will just display
the monitor selection. There is no way to force it to let you pick
a video card. X won't install properly if you don't have a selection
for it. Even after the install, using rpms to install all of X there
is something missing. It should at least put in a low level VGA
server, since the gui install shows the screen properly.

Hardware: IBM PC300GL 6277 with S3 Trio 3D card on board.
