Description Tim Waugh 2013-04-09 15:11:35 UTC
Description of problem:
When adding a Google account using Settings: Online Accounts, shortly after entering my credentials and clicking "Allow access" I get a notification from empathy saying:

Unable to connect to ...@gmail.com: Authentication failed

Evolution tries to fetch IMAP folders but reports:

Failed to open folder.
The reported error was "Timeout was reached"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-online-accounts-3.8.0-1.fc19.x86_64

How reproducible:
Can't get it to work at the moment.

Comment 1 Tim Waugh 2013-04-09 15:12:54 UTC
Note: I do *not* have two-factor authentication enabled.

Comment 2 Debarshi Ray 2013-09-18 12:54:48 UTC
Are you also using Kerberos with gnome-online-accounts?

We have had a few cases where goa-daemon deadlocks are eats up CPU with Kerberos. That might explain the "Timeout was reached".

Comment 3 Debarshi Ray 2014-04-10 09:24:32 UTC
I am going to close this as a duplicate of the 100% CPU consumption issue. Please feel free to reopen if you have reason to believe otherwise.
