in the provided multipath.conf file, it mentions:

# For a complete list of the default configuration values, see
# /usr/share/doc/device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9/multipath.conf.defaults
# For a list of configuration options with descriptions, see
# /usr/share/doc/device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9/multipath.conf.annotated

Neither of these files are distributed in the rpm.


Also, in the device section in the sample multipath.conf it has a 
getuid_callout attribute.  multipath -ll gives an error on that attribute:

 invalid keyword: getuid_callout

Package device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9-51.fc19:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing device-mapper-multipath-0.4.9-51.fc19'
as soon as you are able to.
